Brackets needs libcrypt in order to run. Download libcrypt from this page. Here's what I did:
# wget http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/pool/main/libg/libgcrypt11/libgcrypt11_1.5.0-5+deb7u3_amd64.deb
# dpkg -i libgcrypt11_1.5.0-5+deb7u3_amd64.deb
# dpkg -i Brackets.1.4.Extract.64-bit.deb
