[LEAVING Linkedin] Unwanted mails

 The mail stream continues - now I have spammarked LinkedIn. It seems like the contact person I got from Irelands PDO does not exist.

My name is Per Thykjaer Jensen, and I have tried to leave LinkedIn for several months. ALL my data on LinkedIn must be deleted, including my email. I withdraw all consent for LinkedIn to process my data in any form. And I don't want any emails, updates, news, notifications or anything similar from LinkedIn. So please: delete my profile, data and email address.

According to EU rules:

An individual has a right to obtain from a data controller “…the erasure of personal data concerning him or her without undue delay…” where one or more of a number of the following applies:

1.     the personal data is no longer needed for the reason it was first gathered;

2.     the individual withdraws his or her consent for the processing and the data controller cannot identify any legal grounds to continue processing it;

3.     the individual objects to the processing and the data controller cannot identify any legal grounds to continue processing it;

4.     the individual objects to the processing of the personal data for direct marketing purposes;

5.     the personal data have been unlawfully processed;

6.     the data controller is legally obliged to erase the personal data;

7.     the personal data has been collected in relation to the offer of information society services to a child (for example a social media platform used by a minor).

My profile for LinkedIn was xxxxx@xxxxxxxxx.dk - and you will probably be able to see that I have tried to close down my profile on Linkedin several times. Please delete any data you may have - I want to leave and I invoke the right to be forgotten online.

Now I hope that you will respect that it is my will to leave LinkedIn without further delay.

[SOLVED] Muddy images on Asus screen

The screen is connected to a MacBook air via USB-C. The contrast was bad, and certain information on the window bars were almost unreadable. First I thought that the issue had to do with the MacBook. 

However, the solution was in the actual ASUS screen.

I turned OFF HDI, strangely enough - that did the trick!

Solution: Turn off HDI.
